Employer Commitments

Strengthen LA works closely with employers to connect them with motivated, local talent. When employers request candidate referrals from Strengthen LA, we ask for the following shared commitments to support a strong and transparent hiring process:

By partnering with Strengthen LA, employers commit to:

  • Reviewing applications from career seekers referred by Strengthen LA in a timely manner.
  • Communicating with Strengthen LA’s Employment Opportunity Coach (EOC) if there is interest in moving forward with a candidate but concerns exist around a potential barrier. 
  • Providing interview feedback to the EOC after an interview, whether or not the candidate is hired. 
  • Sharing insight on hiring decisions, including why a candidate was or was not selected, to help Strengthen LA better support and prepare career seekers.

  • Better preparation and support for career seekers 
  • Stronger, more effective hiring matches over time
