Meaghan Bisson
Employment Opportunity Coach
Meaghan Bisson serves as the Employment Opportunity Coach at the LA Metro Chamber of Commerce, where she supports career seekers in achieving meaningful employment and education goals. She assists with resumes, interview preparation, job searches, and exploring career or education pathways. Meaghan also connects individuals with community partners for housing, case management, ESL, and other supports, while helping with transportation, work or school attire, and essential educational expenses.
Meaghan excels at meeting career seekers where they are, bringing empathy and understanding to every interaction. Known by her coworkers as energetic, caring, and empathetic, she approaches her work with compassion and a commitment to helping individuals move forward. She is ACRE certified, allowing her to provide specialized employment services to those facing barriers, and she holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social and Behavioral Science as well as her MHTR-C certification. Meaghan is also an active member of Be the Influence, staying connected to professional and community networks that enhance her work.
Outside the office, Meaghan stays active with her two boys through soccer, basketball, baseball, and her volunteer role on the local Little League board. Her family enjoys spending time outdoors, exploring new places, and being with loved ones, and she is grateful to be part of Strengthen LA supporting individuals in achieving their goals.
